The Fire Service National Benevelent Fund Changes its identity to "The Firefighters Charity"

The Fire Fighters Charity is the new identity of the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund, which has been supporting the UK fire services for six decades. The Fire Fighters Charity Chief Executive, Roy Lawrenson explained why the Charity had developed its new identity: "The fire services community were great supporters of our Charity and we have ensured their support is matched by achievment and we are helping more fire services people every year. However, research tells us that five thousand additional beneficiaries are still slipping through the net every year and we need to attract more funding if we are to support them all." click here to find out more
