Tarleton's fire engine respond to a 40 pump fire at St John's Market Hall, Liverpool Tarleton's crews spent several hours battling the massive blaze at St Johns.
As technology advances Tarleton are issued with new multitone pocket alerter which no longer need to be charged of an evening, the new alters just get new batteries when required. The new alerters were halfed in size which made them easier to carry.
1986 saw the delivery of a replacement appliance for Tarleton, crews were pleased to receive their V8 powered ERF registration number JFV 742N.
